Won the Pertemps qualifier at Leopardstown last Christmas but was only eighth in the final at Cheltenham when behind Karl Des Tourelles who was giving him weight; promising chase debut third at Galway in October but poor effort (jumped left) over C&D last month; others hold stronger claims.

French hurdles winner off the mark at second attempt in chases in C&D beginners' (left clear last) in March; following month race essentially ended with mistake four out (eased) in Cork handicap; has been off 249 days and remains unexposed; has to be respected given the form of the Elliott yard.

Smart hurdler disappointed in the County Hurdle but is still rated 133 in that sphere; ran a fine race on chase debut/return at Thurles and has to be respected today with improvement likely.

One of two for yard; 1-7 over fences, the win coming off 10lb lower at Gowran in March (2m, soft); too much to do when midfield on next start at Punchestown; may have needed latest and ran well over this C&D in January; could go well.
