Alafdhal is yet to figure in his last five starts, never finishing better than fifth, though he does have experience over today's trip. His speed figure reads sharper than his rating suggests, but ranked fifth of seven here, he needs more to trouble this field.

Sedgemoor's figures work him a few pounds above his current official mark, and this six-race sequence includes a win to his name. He was only 9th when last seen 24 days ago, though, and bouncing back from that flat effort is the key test here.
