Out of form after being pulled up at Newton Abbot on his latest start, the most recent in a run of poor performances; showed better ability last summer but his current mark now looks above what he can deliver in his present state.

Shaped with credit at Huntingdon last time, moving into contention before being overhauled close home by a well-weighted rival; handles today's trip and going well and his overall mark looks fair enough, with more to offer on the back of that run.

Had his chance at Worcester last time and ran to his level, finishing 9¼ lengths back in a handicap hurdle; acts on good ground at 2m and the rating edge is workable if he builds on that recent outing and shows greater consistency.
