Well held on debut at Chepstow, trailing the principals by a distance, and requires a major step forward to feature here; lightly raced at least leaves some scope, but the evidence to date gives little to work with.

Finished with a clear surge when third on debut at Lingfield, shaped with clear promise over today's trip on good to firm, and the trainer is in excellent current form at 26% in the last fortnight. Yet to go one better, but this is comfortably the most compelling profile in the field.

Beaten nine lengths in a novice last time yet did more than the result suggests and looks the type to take a forward step; has experience of today's course and going. Back-to-back below-par efforts mean improvement is essential.
