C&D winner who came close to ending a losing AW run when a fast-closing runner-up here (5f) in March (5f); returns to this C&D for the first time since and ought to go well if the race falls his way.

Tough filly who took time to find her form again but won two in a row in early spring, over C&D (overcame a wide draw) and at Chelmsford (5f), and subsequent defeats came over 6f then very slowly away here in April; form claims.

Both handicap wins on turf at Chester (5f and 6f); no great shakes on this track for new yard since November but he's dropped 9lb in that time and there was the glimmer of a revival here last time when back from a break; not ruled out.

Busy since the autumn; some narrow defeats to go with three 5f wins, on Polytrack elsewhere and Tapeta; ran flat at Southwell recently but he's realistically weighted if that wasn't a sign that he's going off the boil.

Maiden; two poor efforts of late, with and without a hood, but he ran well for a long way behind a subsequent winner at Wolverhampton (6f) in April and is worth another go at 5f; first-time blinkers today.
