WestCountry Food Supplies Handicap Hurdle

Largely disappointing for this stable under both codes and, after a brief respite on the Flat at Newbury in April, he refused to come out of the stalls at York last month, both times in this headgear; best hurdle effort when runner-up at Newcastle (2m1f, good) in October offers some hope on handicap switch, but current form is a clear concern.

Has been struggling for form since reappearing in October and offered little encouragement on April's return from just over two months off; has come a long way down in the weights and drops into a Class 5, but that's for good reason and he needs to turn things around.

Built on the promise of his seasonal return when a close second at Warwick (2m, good) last month, despite making a mistake at the last; a 5lb rise asks a little more, though Lewis Stones's 3lb claim helps offset that, and he still looks favourably treated on his best Flat form; with further progress likely, he's high on the shortlist.

Completed back-to-back wins last spring, including one here, but has been badly out of form since returning from a break in December; now 4lb below his last winning mark, but hard to make a case for in current form.

Has slipped to his last winning mark but he's proving difficult to win with and was well held at Wincanton in April last time; cheekpieces return and, while he copes with most ground, he's likely to be playing for minor honours at best.
