Improving but fragile when tested at this level; she was pressed too aggressively at Ascot last time and beaten six lengths in a Group 2, though she ran creditably in the circumstances. She handles any ground and this trip, but the top-class opposition here poses a stiffer test than she has faced before.

Three wins in her last five starts seal her credentials, and her Group 3 success at Carlisle last month — asserting just enough off a slow pace — underlines her class at the top level. She holds something in reserve, handles any ground, and this trip sits comfortably within her range; hard to oppose.

Placed at Group level in Germany and just caught at the line at Cork last time — when her rider lost the whip in a Group 3 — she is progressing with her new stable and has placed form that counts for something. Yet to win in recent starts, though, and this Group 1 field is a considerable step up.

Consistent at Group 2/3 level — fourth beaten two lengths over a mile here on her reappearance, stepping back up to this trip now in first-time cheekpieces. At her best she is a genuine Group performer, though she tends to find one or two too good and may again be outclassed in this company.
