Unibet Novice Stakes (GBB/GBBPlus Race)

Bagged a bumper and three hurdles, including Grade 2 Dovecote last February; acquitted himself well in two big spring festivals of late; should have a future on the Flat but will likely get a mark after this third start; no headgear.

Went close in sole bumper start at Cheltenham last April but failed to build on that in half a dozen hurdle starts since; last month's Flat debut at Wolverhampton wasn't bad (she made late headway into fourth of eight over 1m4f) but better opportunities await, probably over 1m6f+.

Strong in the betting on debut at Newbury (1m3f) and backers always looked like collecting; carries a 7lb penalty here but is seemingly held in some regard given his next outing was meant to be in the Chester Vase (scratched due to having a temperature) and an entry in the Arc (he's around 50-1) has been made.

Fair fourth on debut here in October (7f) and was up against some very nice types when seventh at Newbury last month (1m2f; achieved similar amount); will be of greater interest once handicapping.

Slowly away and trailed in last on debut at Nottingham 18 days ago (8.3f; 66-1); surely needs more time.
