Wildwest Beer Festival 4th July Fillies' Handicap

In good form for most of 2025, winning two 5f handicaps last spring; not quite hit those heights this time around, including from a good draw at Chester 24 days ago (met some trouble in the home straight); today's drop into a Class 4 will help and she is back against her own sex; should go well.

Her front-running C&D win last May came off just 1lb lower; ended 2025 quietly but she returned to form after six months off, keeping on well for second at Musselburgh (5f, good) 32 days ago; takes on some less-exposed 3yos but likely to go well.

Formerly trained by Alice Haynes; highly tried as a 2yo after winning a 5f Lingfield maiden (good ground), running her best race when third of seven in a Listed race at Deauville last August (5f, good to soft); not obviously well treated for her handicap debut but she has joined a stable known for their sprinters and looks worth a market check.

Improved with each of her first four 2yo runs, following a Yarmouth novice win with a cosy success at Sandown last July; flopped on soft ground wn last seen but that isn't the run to judge her on; absent for 275 days but likely there is more in the tank.

Ex-Irish mare; ran a cracker on her stable debut at Newcastle in March (5f), beaten a nose by a well-handicapped opponent; mixed fortunes in three runs since; others may have her measure today.
