Absent 289 days after winning Chester maiden (7f, good) last summer and made no more than a respectable seasonal/handicap debut when midfield at Windsor (1m, good to firm) this month; needs that recent outing to have brought him on.

Appeared to display improvement when third of nine behind 1-12 favourite at Epsom (8.5f, good) last month, on third start; that form is quite tricky to weigh up but the running-on fourth has done well in the meantime; drops back in trip for handicap debut; remains unexposed.

Kept on well to prevail by a head against her own sex at Catterick (7f, good) nine days ago and now 2-2 in handicaps; another 3lb higher over a slightly longer trip but is probably still improving; has big role to play.
