The winner of one of his 11 starts for Roger Varian, namely a 13.3f handicap at Chelmsford in January; sold for 8,500gns last month; still to prove as good on turf as AW but that is perhaps circumstance, rather than a marked preference for artificial surfaces.

Made all to win a 1m6f handicap at Wolverhampton for Jamie Osborne last September; unplaced in two hurdle runs for this yard but he didn't run badly returned to the Flat at Goodwood 19 days ago (1m6f, good); down in class today and should have a big run in him.

Ran away with a Class 6 handicap at Southwell last October (1m6f) off a 10lb lower mark; two runner-up finishes at Southwell last month (after a 166-day absence) and he seemed fully effective on turf last year; one to take seriously.

Won two handicaps last July (1m4f, good and 1m6f, firm); he has finished second in two of his three runs this year, latterly beaten a short-head at Leicester 11 days ago (1m4f, good to firm); had just one run on slower than good and finished well beaten, so conditions may be a concern.

Losing run stretches back to July 2023 but he ended 2025 in good form and his reappearance at Doncaster (1m4f, good to firm) 18 days ago was a positive one; stepping back up in distance is a positive but he could do with the ground drying out.
