Went close in a couple of Dundalk maidens over the winter; handicap debut there was too bad to be true when tailed off; put that run behind him when a 3l third last time on his first try dropping to 1m back in maiden company; in the mix on turf debut.

Hit the crossbar over an extended 1m2f at Naas (good to yielding) on handicap debut off 2lb higher; reasonable effort back in a maiden at Gowran next time when fourth; the heavy ground was perhaps not to his liking when last seen at Gowran when 23l behind; chance.

Best effort from five maidens came at Galway in July when a 6l fifth of 14 (7f, yielding); may not have appreciated softer ground when tailed off at Gowran and 4l behind at Roscommon; interesting contender on handicap debut

Progressing well on AW for current yard, recording a second win at Dundalk last month off 61 before solid third there next time; couldn't transfer that form to turf at Bellewstown last time when tailed off (1m4f, soft); perhaps better ground can suit more, but likelihood is that he's better on AW.
