Pulled up in the Ulster National (3m4f, soft) in March but he was runner-up in two chase handicaps at Musselburgh (2m4f/2m7f) before that; now returns to hurdling but he's 3-8 in this sphere and is on a dangerous mark on this drop back in trip and grade; one to keep an eye on.

Yet to add to his French hurdle win (2m1f, very soft) in 2023 but he's been placed in last three runs including when second behind Kilmore Rock over C&D (good) last month; should go well again and any rain would be a bonus.

Won this race last year and he improved his hurdling record to 5-13 when beating Jericoacoara over C&D (second-time blinkers) two weeks ago; up 6lb but he was as good as ever with that comfortable success and is a major player again.

Won a maiden hurdle (2m5f, good) for James Ewart last spring; runner-up in C&D handicap next time but he's not gone on from that and has been disappointing in last two runs; drops back in trip/grade but he needs to get back near his best to make an impact.

Off the mark at the ninth attempt over hurdles when justifying favouritism in a handicap here (2m2f, good) last month; this is tougher off 5lb higher but he seems versatile trip-wise and he still has potential; respected for in-form yard.
