Leopardstown Members Handicap

Maiden winner here at 2 (good) but struggled in handicaps in first half of last season for Jessica Harrington and never counted on yard debut here in October on heavy; handicapper relenting but still on a high enough mark; wide draw a negative.

Won 7f Tipperary maiden and then second in a Cork conditions race in first half of last season but didn't really progress; Dundalk run in November wasn't a bad effort but much more likely needed on return.

Highly progressive from a low base last autumn, winning all three handicaps on heavy ground, at Gowran and twice at the Curragh; continued improvement on last month's return at latter venue when fine third of 25 from 7lb out of handicap in Irish Lincoln in first-time cheekpieces; encounters quicker conditions here, big player if handling them.

Made an immediate impact for new yard when scoring on stable debut at Dundalk (1m2f) in November and better again when second there over today's trip following month; likely still has more to offer on turf although wide draw far from ideal here.

Seven Flat wins include here over 1m1f in 2024 and more recently on Dundalk AW in December (1m2f); mixed form since at same venue, 1m4f looking too far on latest; marked drop in trip here and visor replace cheekpieces; others preferred.
