Coulsty gelding was a 34,000gns yearling; half-brother to winners Valiabad (French 9.5f/1m2f inc AW; RPR 103), Vanada (French 7.5f 2yo; 96), Valeya (French 1m4f) and Ruesga (Spanish 10.5f/1m3f); dam Listed-placed 9.5f AW/1m7f turf winner (104); makes some appeal on paper but look's yard's second string.

Kept on for a 5.25l fifth of 13 in a 1m maiden here last October when sent off at 10-1; bred to appreciate this longer trip and out of a Pivotal dam so should handle softer ground; holds Irish Derby entry; could go well.

Left form of first two runs behind when staying on well for second at Killarney in October (1m, sft-hvy), earning a rating of 75, and the winner of that landed a valuable auction race at Naas on her next start; pedigree suggests this trip will suit; each-way shout at least if ready after break.

Excellent effort on debut at Leopardstown (7f, yld-sft) in October when beaten 0.75l into second (RPR 75); speedily bred but shaped the last day like further would suit; obvious chance if he stays.
