Below best on soft in October and gelded since; had looked suited by the stiff 6f at Salisbury when winning there previously and although he won over this trip on his Kempton AW debut last spring, today's sharp test may be on the inadequate side; still has some potential, though.

Can lead; five AW wins at 6f and 5f; has settled into a handicapping groove since the latest of them in February and although he wasn't far away under Harry Vigors at Wolverhampton (6f; blinkers replaced cheekpieces) 11 days ago he isn't obviously ahead of his mark.

Ran well at Kempton in sole 6f AW run (as 2yo) but proved a far better 3yo, winning three of his first four turf starts, over 6f and 7f; his form deserted him later but he returns to action only just above his latest winning mark last June; interesting.

Smart in his prime; not the same force now but the pick of his 6f form on turf and AW in 2025 suggests he's well treated if the race happens to fall his way and this is an easier grade than he often tackles.

Has gone well fresh, having run well in sole 2yo start and a wide-margin winner on Wolverhampton AW (6f; made all) on reappearance last year; put up a bold show against the older horses in a competitive 6f race at Nottingham in October and looks a likely type for this race.
