Promising return to action at Chelmsford in October (6f) and that was off a 6lb higher mark; no progress since but 7f has stretched him on his last two starts and he returns to 6f in a lower grade; big player with cheekpieces added for the first time.

Strong at the finish when winning a 7f handicap at Doncaster last summer (good to soft); three lesser efforts followed and he returns from his 172 break over a trip that may be too sharp; he is drawn near some good pace though and looks worth a market check.

Won a 6f novice at Newcastle on his second start last summer; handicaps have proved more troublesome but he is edging down the weights and now drops into 0-70 company for the first time.

No win on turf since September 2024 but he ran well for third at Thirsk (6f, good) two weeks ago, form that has been boosted by the winner and second running well in big fields since; one to be interested in off the same mark.

The winner of two of his six starts this year, both over 6f at Southwell; he could only manage fourth of the nine runners back at Southwell 20 days ago and he will need to raise his game to defy this mark.
