Runner-up to exciting prospect at Kempton (1m, AW) in December on third and final 2yo start and returned to action with 4l win in Bath novice (1m2f, good) this month; likeable prospect who is respected on handicap debut.

Promising third last year on first two starts (1m, good/soft) then won Haydock maiden (1m, good to soft) in September; his dam was a 1m2f/1m4f winner and it seems likely that he'll improve for this step up in trip on handicap/seasonal debut; trainer won this in 2024.

Defied inexperience to win on debut at Lingfield (1m2f, AW) in February and again ran well when 3l second to a newcomer at Southwell (1m4f, AW) last month; his dam was a Listed winner and he could prove to be on an advantageous mark for his first handicap start.

Won on debut at Bath (1m, good to soft) last September before 8l last of eight in Italian Group 3 (7.5f, good); reappeared with strong finish for third in Kempton novice (1m, AW) this month and his pedigree also suggests he'll relish the extra yardage today; firmly in calculations.

Best of his four 2yo runs came when second here (7f, soft) in August, and he also showed promise on fast ground; bred to be suited by the step up in trip but he was headstrong on occasions last year, which is a concern, and improvement is needed off his opening mark.
