KSR Lighting Handicap Hurdle

Bounced back with a win at Warwick (2m5f, good to soft) in December but he was tailed off in next two starts and he didn't get very far at Newbury (fell at third) last time; has plenty to prove again and he's still 3lb higher than for his last win.

Bumper and maiden hurdle winner; pulled up in a Sandown handicap (2m4f, soft) last month but that was a tough assignment in a valuable event and he still has potential after only five runs in this sphere; needs checking in market on this drop back in grade.

Four-time hurdle winner who has form figures of 11631 at Fontwell; has mixed record this season but he went close at Plumpton (2m4f, soft) on his penultimate run and was rallying in a close fifth when he unseated two out at Kempton (2m, good) last time; one of two runners for the yard and he's an interesting contender back at this track.

Scored with a tongue-tie added at Plumpton (2m4f, good to soft) last month and he ran to a similar level when a 2l third at Wincanton (2m4f, good) last time; has been as good as ever in those last two runs and he won this race last year; respected.

Fast-ground bumper winner who landed a Taunton novice (2m3f, good) in January but he was disappointing on his return visit the following month; bit to prove after that but he's still lightly raced and it wouldn't be a surprise if he resumed his progress on handicap debut.
