Back hurdling the last twice after a brief stint over fences; the first time he'd worn these aids combined when a front-running third at Wetherby (3m, good; beaten 4.25l); exposed but firmly in the mix.

Second to the smart Moneygarrow here before winning a maiden at Cheltenham (2m4f, good); back on track with a 4l third over 2m5f at Kempton and going further this afternoon could help him on handicap debut; respected.

Goes particularly well at Bangor but was runner-up at Aintree on final run in October (3m, good); however, a 3lb rise sees him on a career-high mark and he's been off a good while.

Career-best form came here in December when scoring over 3m2f (good to soft); hasn't really approached that level since, in cheekpieces and blinkers (new) the last twice.
