Mixed results in international races are flanked by wins in last two domestic attempts, namely Group 2 at Goodwood and Listed race at Ascot, both over 1m on good to firm; very useful but his figures seem to have settled at a ceiling that is below the required standard in this field.

No slouch but he has never raced above Listed level and looks like being a possible pacemaker for stablemate The Lion In Winter in this first Group attempt; clear bottom of this pack on handicap marks and should be swallowed up once his rivals get roaring.
