Dubai Duty Free Handicap

6f wins at Windsor and Ascot last summer and he's of interest on the latter effort; 33-1 and offered little in a 5f handicap at Newcastle four weeks ago; should be sharper today but others bring more compelling claims.

Unexposed at 6f; this mark is in range judged on his two placed efforts this winter; failed to fire on Good Friday but he received a kick before the start which won't have helped; no surprise to see him bounce back.

Heavy defeats on his last three starts, including his Kempton reappearance three weeks ago; he's on a fair mark on the pick of his efforts though and this track does seem to suit him well; Tom Marquand is a notable booking for the stable (his nine rides for Stan Moore have yielded two wins, a second, three thirds and two fourths); lively outsider.

Managed only a midfield finish in the Portland Handicap (5.6f, good) when last seen in September but he was favourite for that prestigious event having won well at Newmarket on penultimate start; still has potential after just six starts, three of which have resulted in 6f wins; looks the type to be contesting major sprint handicaps this summer but stall 1 is a slight query on his return (best pace looks middle to high); gelded since last seen.

Won a couple of useful 6f 3yo handicaps in the first half of 2025; no progress since but he is edging back down the weights; returns from four months off and he will need to be at his best.
