Won at Southwell for Mick Appleby in December and he made it 2-4 in cheekpieces with a dominant display at Wolverhampton (6f, AW) last week; record of 0-7 on turf but he ran well in big-field handicap at York last summer and he's a major player if he can transfer his progress back to this sphere; respected under a penalty.

Ended last season with a heavy defeat in the Ayr Bronze Cup but he did well for Hugo Palmer last summer including a brave win off this mark at Chester (6f, good); returns in new headgear for new yard but he went close on his reappearance last term and he needs watching in market.

Nine-time AW winner who won three in a row during the winter and was a creditable fifth in Class 3 at Lingfield (6f, Polytrack) two weeks ago; record of 1-21 on turf but he's on a lower mark in this sphere and he had a close call at Windsor last autumn; dangerous.

Six-time turf winner who has a good record at Bath and is only 2lb higher than for her win here (5f, heavy) last autumn; returns after 165 days off but she went close on her reappearance last season and that was on good to firm at Chepstow (6f); in the mix.
