Developed into a pretty smart staying handicapper on the Flat for Mick and David Easterby in 2021, finishing third in 2m4f handicaps at Royal Ascot and Glorious Goodwood; respectable fifth of 32 in the Cesarewitch at Newmarket (2m2f) in October of that year but not seen again until fourth of six at Ayr (1m5f, good to soft) last September; there was enough in that to suggest he retains ability but he's been absent for another seven months and isn't the easiest to assess.
4yo who has had only seven races; can race freely but there's still a feeling he could have a bigger performance in him and he shaped quite well under a change of tactics (went from the front) when 4l fifth of nine in the Queen's Prize at Kempton (2m, AW) 18 days ago.
Prominent racer who posted four wins in the second half of last year, including a C&D defeat of Charging Thunder on good; suffered a heavy defeat on AW last time but it was in a strong Good Friday race at Newcastle and Charging Thunder was once again behind him; a bold show seems likely in these much calmer waters back on turf.
Very useful in this sphere at his peak but it's doubtful he still retains that level of ability, finishing last of six in 2m AW handicap at Southwell back on the Flat last month.
