Runner-up in this race in 2024 when it was staged as a Class 2; made all at Chester (7.5f, good to firm) on his next start and it was a solid fourth back there (7f, good to soft) when last seen 20 months ago; yard going well and handicapper has given him a shot too; watch the market.

3-4 since asked to tackle 7f from late August with wins at Newbury (good) and twice on AW (latterly dead-heating); big fields no problem and he can likely do better again this term; player if tuned up.
