Steadily progressive, mostly in handicaps, throughout his career; won by 1l going away from Jasour in Listed event at Doncaster (6f, good to soft) on seasonal debut, looking better than ever and taking record to 6-23; solid second in both C&D starts; enters calculations upped further in grade.

Dead-heated with Diligent Harry in Listed grade to complete a Lingfield 6f double in January and take AW record to 4-8; effective when fresh but is by no means certain to transfer the improvement back to turf; only 1-9 in this sphere; tongue-tie applied.

Record of 0-5 on turf compared to 2-3 on AW; admittedly registered his peak RPR in this sphere when second Elmonjed in York Listed contest (6f) on penultimate appearance; however, needs an even bigger effort to go one better in this field.

Good strike-rate on AW includes a Listed sprint double at Lingfield this year, sharing the spoils with Completely Random on reappearance; similar to that rival, looks far from guaranteed to maintain the form back on turf; 0-18 in this sphere.

Has form on the Newmarket tracks but recorded last three wins at York, including when beating Crestofdistinction with more in hand than the narrow margin suggests in Listed grade on most recent appearance; likely to be more interesting when back at that venue.
