Useful in bumpers but he has finished down the field in two Flat starts this year; handicaps likely to see him in a better light.

Smart bumper/novice hurdle form; recorded an RPR of 141 when eighth in the County Hurdle four weeks ago; no match for Constitution Hill on his Flat debut but he should do better in this sphere at some point, probably when handicapping.

Two runs in November, fifth on debut (8.6f) before putting that experience to good use at Newcastle 19 days later where he finished strongest to beat 11 rivals (1m); new trip should suit and he is bred to carry on improving; the penalty does ask a stiffer question though.

Got tired in the final furlong when fourth of nine in an 8.3f maiden (soft) here in October, but it was still an encouraging start to his career; the longer trip should suit and this Irish Derby entrant is open to plenty of improvement this year.

Last of three on debut (1m, soft) and fifth of six on his second 2yo run (8.3f, good to soft); the latter effort wasn't without promise, however, and this longer trip should be right up his street.
