Running well in defeat in 5f/6f handicaps on AW prior to getting off the mark at the 17th attempt in Newcastle maiden (6f, AW) three weeks ago; positive performances on all three previous visits here; untested at 7f but it's possible the trip will be within range; in the mix if seeing it out.

He's won just once since making his British debut in October 2023; however, that came this January (7f, AW) and a slow start proved costly when back at 6f at Southwell last Thursday; effective on turf and might not be far away now back up in trip.

0-16 last year but runner-up four times, including over C&D last October when last seen; he's run well on his reappearance in each of the last two seasons and this three-time C&D winner could be bang there.

Inconsistent last year but won at Musselburgh (7f, good) in August on his third handicap start and wasn't beaten far in fifth at Wolverhampton (7f, AW) when last seen; remains lightly raced and could be a contender.

13-race maiden who wasn't at his best towards the end of last year; however, he's dropped to a dangerous mark and it will be no surprise if he's in the shake-up on this reappearance, for which he wears a first-time visor.
