Thatchers Handicap Chase (GBB Race)

Very well treated on old form for Willie Mullins, but he left that yard under a cloud and has yet to find any real spark since joining current stable; although his third of four Hereford (2m, good) in March did offer a glimmer of encouragement, he failed to build on it; remains with plenty to prove.

Four-time chase winner, most recently at Plumpton (2m1f, good) in November before falling in a Sandown Class 3 in January; returned from a break with two solid placed efforts in March over hurdles, latest when a close second at Taunton (2m3f, good) 21 days ago; switches back to fences in a very small field and should go well.

2-4 since switched to fences, most recently against her own sex at Warwick (2m, good to soft) where the form has worked out well; steps back into open company off 6lb higher but she remains open to progress in this sphere.

Twice a winner over fences in France before joining current stable; made a low-key start to British career but latest two efforts have been promising, latest when a keeping-on third at Fontwell (2m2f, soft) in March; return to better ground could see him in a better light and he's one to consider in an open contest.
