First Past The Post At CopyBet Mares' Maiden Hurdle (GBB Race)

Out of connections' smart jumper Briery Belle; not beaten far when fifth of 13 in Uttoxeter bumper in December 2024 but returned from long layoff with less encouraging bumper run last month; improvement required.

Dug deep to win soft-ground Newbury bumper on debut last season and has made the frame on three of her four hurdling starts this term; does not appear to be making any progress but ought to be on the premises here.

Lowly rated Flat maiden; seemed to take pretty well to hurdling when respectable fourth at Newcastle (2m4f, good to soft) a fortnight ago but has quite a lot to find here.

Runner-up on first three hurdling starts this season, losing out only narrowly on handicap debut at Ludlow (2m, soft; front pair clear) in February; clearly not herself when pulled up in valuable series final last month but should be fine on the forecast good ground here and will be hard to beat if back on song.

Placed in two of her three bumpers last year but both hurdle runs last month (1m7f/2m3f) were disappointing; still has plenty of time to get her act together over jumps but arrives here with quite a bit to prove.
