Second on bumper debut at Chepstow (good) last April; made jumping errors when well-held when third in Doncaster novice hurdle (2m, soft) in November but has plenty of scope for improvement if he finds some fluency on this return to better ground, and his pedigree suggests the new trip will suit.

Second to subsequent Grade 2 winner Montemares over C&D (good to soft) on hurdle debut in December and also placed on both subsequent outings, latterly when back here last month; respected.

Half-brother to stable's useful jumper Coeur Serein but struggled (albeit on soft ground) on his first two appearances (2m/2m4f).

Showed minor promise against own age-group on last two outings, more recenty when keeping on steadily for never-dangerous fifth at Wetherby (2m, soft; ride attracted stewards' attention) in January; needs significant improvement here, though.
