Course winner who was third in a point-to-point in January; however, this 12yo has been pulled up off a basement mark in handicaps on his last two starts and others are preferred.

Two-time chase winner who was a 9l second in this race 12 months ago (good); gets a pull in the weights with the winner Brandy McQueen from their clash at Catterick (3m1f, good) last month but he was soundly beaten in second and has work to do today.

Pulled up/tailed off on all seven starts since winning the Welsh National for the Moore stable in December 2023; it's tricky to assess what he's capable of nowadays but this race is vastly easier than he's used to and if he retains any spark he'll be tough to beat on this stable debut.
