In good form here this winter before a lacklustre effort three weeks ago; capable of bouncing back but there are risks attached.

Returned to form out of the blue when winning a C&D handicap last month (tongue tied first time); fair effort at Southwell (5f) one week later and he will be happier back up in distance.

Off mark for new yard with a last-gasp success at Wolverhampton (6f) in January; unable to land a blow in a well-run 6f event back there 18 days ago but it was still a fair effort; likely to give another good account.

In blistering form two winters back, climbing from a BHA mark of 45 to 77; absent for 471 days prior to a 2025 campaign where he struggled; had a wind op in January and he hinted at a revival when beaten under 4l in a Class 5 here four weeks ago (5f); this looks more realistic and market confidence would look significant.

Two 6f turf wins last summer, both in classified company; no problem with the return to AW but back from a break perhaps not the time to catch him; all wins and bulk of his placed efforts have come in cheekpieces which are absent today.
