Bounced back from Chelmsford flop (1m6f, Polytrack) to win at Wolverhampton (2m, Tapeta) last time; his last three wins have come there but he ran well on his previous AW outing here and is entitled to respect.

Below par at Newcastle last time but in good form previously, finishing third over this C&D before winning at Chelmsford (1m6f); has won twice over today's C&D and he's not ruled out.

Two wins here (1m4f/1m5f) towards the end of last year, which sandwiched a close third of five at Chelmsford on his sole previous crack at 2m; continued in good form over 1m4f here on his last two starts and he's on the shortlist now back up in trip and kept to his favourite venue.

Encouraging third at Wolverhampton (1m4f, Tapeta) last month on third handicap start but down the field at Southwell (1m3f, Tapeta) since and he could do with settling better now up in trip.

Won over C&D in January; runner-up at Southwell (1m6f) next time and has won over 1m6f at Wolverhampton and Southwell on his two starts since; his wins have been narrow ones, meaning he is climbing the weights only slowly, and there can be optimism this progressive 5yo has more left in the tank.
