Signed off last season with game success in Group 3 at Ascot (6f, soft) in October, and he repeatedly met trouble when only seventh in Saudi Arabia (a race he'd won two years earlier) on return; sole previous run at Doncaster resulted in a win in the Portland; needs considering despite a penalty.

Usually races up with pace; fine sprinter over the years but the majority of his big wins have come at the Curragh, where he's won five Group races; well beaten over this C&D when last seen in November and, although he'd be dangerous on a going day, others seem more likely to give their running.

Won this race 12 months ago (good to soft) when others including James's Delight met trouble; ended 2025 better than ever with convincing successes in Group 3 at Chantilly (very soft) and Listed race here (heavy; Montassib and Art Power unplaced); penalised this time but should go well again.

Notably tough and consistent in handicaps, posting another personal best when winning narrowly at Ascot (6f, soft) last October; this Listed event requires another step up the ladder but he always gives his all and it's not out of the question.

Useful 2yo who returned to form to win handicap at Yarmouth (6f, good to soft) last autumn on second run for James Tate; however, he was no threat off his revised mark at Southwell (AW debut) on return, and he looks up against it in this higher grade.
