Randox Foxhunters' Open Hunters' Chase

Very hard to fancy judged on this year's hunter chase form but he took a big step forward when fifth of 29 at 125-1 in this race last April (good to soft) and is not ruled out each-way back over these obstacles.

Progressive in handicap chases last spring for Warren Greatrex (2m2f/2m3f, good/soft) and last month's third on stable debut in a hunter chase at Carlisle (2m5f, good to soft), after an absence, can be upgraded as he hung left at that right-handed track; has plenty to find but this 7yo is very lightly raced and, now going left-handed, could go well at sizeable odds.

Proved his stamina and made it 5-5 under rules (all in hunter chases) when beating Its On The Line by a neck to win the big one at Cheltenham (3m2f, good to soft) last month, despite a mistake at the final fence; has also won on good going; he doesn't appear to be straightforward but clearly knows how to win and should be fine back down in trip; major player.

Showed the odd snippet of very useful form in 2024, winning easily at Wetherby (2m3f, good) that November on his second chase start; however, his subsequent exploits put him well down the pecking order in this line-up.

Four point wins last year and runner-up in two hunter chases last spring (2m7f/2m6f, good to soft/good); however, he'll need to improve upon that form and this 12yo hasn't shone on either outing this year.
