Still in front when falling on his return to hunter chasing in January but ran miserably at Leicester next time where soft ground was no excuse; had been in good form in handicaps before those setbacks and would take some beating if back on song.

It was a match he won at Warwick in October (2m4f handicap, good) but that took his strike-rate to 9-30 over fences; remains in the same colours despite leaving Ben Pauling; should give his running on hunter chase debut.

Won this in 2023; somewhat resurgent at Catterick this month but in a weaker race than this and he was beaten fair and square in a match at Kempton last week.

Has a mountain to climb on BHA ratings but his was earned over hurdles and he's been going great guns in points during the past 12 months or so; it's also worth bearing in mind that in late 2024 he got to within 3l of this month's Cheltenham Festival hero Barton Snow in a 3m point; only a 6yo and could run well.
