Ascot Racecourse Supports Horse Rangers Hampton Maiden Hurdle (GBB Race)

Warwick bumper winner on good ground and was then best of the rest behind a runaway winner when penalised at Ascot; 5-1 for hurdle debut at Newcastle (2m4f) and reportedly bled from the nose after pulling up; retains potential but this is no easy race in which to bounce back.

Bumper winner who then won two Flat handicaps for Ralph Beckett; he's getting there over hurdles judged on his near miss at Taunton (2m, good) and this longer trip could trigger the improvement he'll need to trouble West Hill Verde.

Has something to find on all the figures with West Hill Verde but this eight-race maiden probably ran his best race yet in a Haydock handicap (2m3f, good to soft) and the winner is an improver who has followed up; effective on good ground so should give his running.

No wins in eight but he's been performing to a useful level and did well to make the frame in a Grade 2 at Kelso last time (2m2f, good to soft) given the stumble he took mid-race; all his form stacks up as the best on offer in this race; hard to beat if he's okay on the forecast good ground that will be a first for him.

Runner up in a bumper and two maiden hurdles for Willie Mullins (on good and soft) and the Cork maiden in which she was a remote third in December (final run) was dominated by good horses; while she's up to winning races for her new connections, she may have to wait for another day.
