Good-ground Irish point winner last spring; 0-5 under rules but travelled well for a long way before weakening into fourth on last month's chasing debut at Wetherby (2m3f, soft) and the reduced emphasis on stamina ought to aid his cause.

5-19 over hurdles, with all wins gained on good/good to firm; well beaten on last month's chasing debut at Chepstow (2m3f, soft) but will be much better suited by today's quicker conditions and may yet have a future over fences.

Fell mid-race here on chasing debut 18 days ago but twice ran well in today's headgear combination over hurdles last month and, with good ground suitable, has a good chance if able to transfer that form to fences.

Not bred for fences but has collected small-field chase wins on soft ground at Plumpton (2m1f) and Fontwell (2m2f) in recent weeks, and may be even better suited by the forecast good ground on this hat-trick attempt.
