1m2f French winner; not far away on several outings for Kevin Philippart De Foy but ended his time with that yard on a low note and tailed off on reappearance for new stable last month; now tongue tied first time.

Pretty useful form to win 1m2f novice events at Newmarket last April and Lingfield (AW) last month, having been absent in between; favourite for handicap debut at Kempton, which didn't not go well but he failed to settle on that step up to 1m4f; should be of interest at this trip.

Formerly useful on the Flat for Kevin Ryan but was sold last July and has been comfortably held since on the Flat and over hurdles, last seen in November; ran moderately in 2024 on his only appearance on AW.

His first seven wins were all gained over 1m4f/1m3f, with the latest of those last October, but he then made all under Olivia Tubb in a six-runner race over C&D 13 days ago; that win was by a neck and he's been raised 2lb since, but a wide draw complicates today's task.

Progressive form in his four maidens, culminating in September in his second at Newcastle (7f, Tapeta) and his win in a four-runner race at Brighton (7f, good to firm); gelded since; likely to stay and bring potential to this handicap debut and his strength in the market can prove instructive.
