Four runs as a 2yo, winning a 1m maiden at Southwell on his second start and showing better form when third under a penalty at Kempton last October; absent since a disappointing nursery debut at Wolverhampton 132 days ago; steps up in distance for his reappearance; not yet exposed.

Improved with each of his first three runs as a 2yo, winning a 1m maiden at Brighton in October; faced a stiff task upped to Group 1 company in France 19 days later (1m2f, very soft) and came up well short; the fact he was even considered for that race suggests an opening mark of 80 should be within range.

Improved for a gelding operation/switch to AW this winter, finishing second to an exciting prospect at Kempton in January (1m) before filling the same position over C&D five weeks ago; looked a tricky ride last time, however, and no surprise to see headgear reached for.

Runner-up on his first two starts before making all to win at Newcastle ten weeks ago (all 1m); he will need further progress to defy this mark but the longer trip looks a positive on breeding.

Promise in novice/maiden company at 1m; improved for the step up in trip/switch to handicaps when seeing off five rivals at Wolverhampton (9.4f) in November, still looking to be a work in progress; 5lb rise asks a stiffer question of him on his return to action.
