BetVictor Novices' Hurdle (GBB Race)

Returns to a novice after running in handicaps, improving for the tongue-tie to win at Hereford (about 2m4f) and Ascot (about 2m3f, also soft); it was easily a career best last time and has since had a wind operation; sets the standard on RPRs; withdrawn from last week's Grade 1 novice at Cheltenham due to the drying ground; yard won this with Dashel Drasher in 2019.

Placed in a bumper for a different yard (same colours) before narrowly winning a Catterick maiden (1m7f, good to soft; new tongue-tie) on his first run for Nick Scholfield; this is a harder race than that and he's penalised.

Harry Derham is seeking a hat-trick in this race and his Irish point winner (good to yielding) came clear with the useful runner-up when justifying short odds in a maiden at Chepstow (2m3f, soft); looks a good prospect.

Irish point winner; ran okay in a bumper but tailed off in two runs over hurdles; this is no easier.

Well related and he won an Irish point (yielding to soft); excellent effort in chasing home last week's Turners sixth Bossman Jack at Chepstow (2m, soft), especially as this 6yo pulled clear of the third; promising and he's up in trip here.
