Paxtons Equestrian Handicap Hurdle

Won on reappearance at Carlisle (2m1f, good) in October and ran well in defeat on next three starts (about 2m, good/good to soft); pulled up at Haydock only a fortnight ago, when more was amiss than just the 2m3f trip, but he's a player if bouncing back from that blip; cheekpieces go on.

Defied an absence to make all over C&D (soft) last January on first start back with this yard; close second at Plumpton (2m4f, soft) that February; has won on good ground; returns from another layoff today but he's proved that the lack of a recent run is no barrier to success; watch the market.

Won this last year when 2lb higher (good); ran well in fifth of 15 at Catterick in January, when not quite seeing out the 2m3f trip, and he unseated mid-race there last time; could have a big part to play.

Won in France (2m3f, heavy) last January and followed up in novice hurdle at Catterick (1m7f, good) that March; however, pulled up in handicaps on both starts since, most recently her stable debut last month; plenty to prove.

Off the mark over hurdles at the ninth attempt in C&D maiden (good) in October; disappointing in handicap at Musselburgh (1m7f, good to soft) in November but has had a break since and is not written off back here.
