Unseated rider when returned to chasing in January and has suffered a heavy defeat since; on a workable mark and suited by this C&D/slow ground but has some questions to answer.

Gained three of his five chase wins here; must bounce back from a poor performance (over hurdles) in January but was placed here on first two starts this season (2m4f hurdle/2m chase) and has been given a chance by the handicapper.

Clear second in C&D mares' race (heavy ground) on chasing debut in January and has claims if judged on that performance but was pulled up at Hereford last month and is now 0-14 under rules; others preferred.

Began this year with three slow-ground wins (2m-2m1f, one here) and lost out only by a head when second here (2m, heavy; front pair well clear) on latest outing; continues to climb up the weights but should be fine over today's longer trip and can make his presence felt again.

Seemingly aided by addition of cheekpieces when making the frame three consecutive times (2m7f-3m) towards end of last year but still wasn't really firing on all cylinders; should be fine over this shorter trip but the headgear is missing today and he needs to have been refreshed by his three-month break.
