BetMGM Lady Wulfruna Stakes (Listed Race)

6f AW win on his 2yo debut; took his form to another level when winning the Group 2 Gimcrack Stakes at York; returned from a 526-day absence with a good third in a 6f Listed race at Lingfield five weeks ago and he should be sharper today; drawn widest back up at 7f but still a leading contender.

Good record on AW; as good as ever this year, finishing fourth (behind Cool Hoof Luke) in a Listed race at Lingfield five weeks ago and then second in a handicap back at Lingfield last week; stamina for 7f has to be taken on trust (one turf attempt saw him finish tailed off) but he hasn't got much to find on form.

Still improving and his latest Lingfield success (7f) was just reward for a string of good placed efforts this year; has a stiff task at the weights but likely he will fare better than they suggest.

Strong AW form in the first half of 2025; awkward leaving the stalls in his two runs this winter and the form has been well short of his best; steps up to 7f for the first time.

Steadily progressive 5yo, including two 7f handicap wins last year; took form to a higher level when fourth of 15 in a Listed race at Deauville (7.5f) in December, never far away in a race where the pace held up; should have another big run in him.
