Nine-time course winner, most recently over 6f off a 2lb lower mark early in the year; knocking on in years and lacks consistency these days but remains capable at this level.

Two wins, a second, a third and three fourths to his name in seven runs over C&D and boasts a decent record at this time of the years; chased home a subsequent winner under Jack Callan here a fortnight ago off the same mark and goes on the shortlist.

Has shown enough in two runs back from a lengthy absence (gelded in the interim) for this yard to suggest this mark is within range; goes without the hood tonight; was expensive to follow for Richard Hughes, though, and remains a maiden.

Remains winless after 21 starts and has been running over 6f of late; better off back into handicap company, from 0-50 classifieds, in theory but others make more appeal.
