Has a patchy record but he won at Redcar (6f, good) in November and was a close fourth on his reappearance at Newcastle (Tapeta) last month; has wide draw back on Polytrack but he's tactically versatile and could be in the thick of things again.

Showed some promise in his qualifying runs but he returned after wind surgery with heavy defeat on handicap debut at Wolverhampton (7f, Tapeta; 18-1) in December; left Charlie Hills since then and has something to prove now switched to sprinting for new yard; tongue-tie removed.

Eight-time AW winner including two over C&D; his last success was off only 1lb lower at Wolverhampton in December and he ran well to finish third there (6f) last Monday; cheekpieces now return and he's respected from good draw.

Well handicapped on his second at Goodwood (6f, good) last August but he's lost his way in last three runs and was beaten 13l on his C&D reappearance last month; record is now 0-9 and others are preferred.

Nine-time winner who got back on track with a narrow success over C&D (17-2) in January; drawn out wide this time but he's only 2lb higher than for that last run and could be a major force again.
