10yo who was disappointing at Windsor in January; however, prior to that he went close behind Go Dante over this C&D (soft) and he has a strong record at Sandown, including form figures of 255 in this race; no surprise if this front-runner bounces back with a bold bid now back here.

Lightly raced 5yo who made it 2-2 for the season with comfortable win in four-runner handicap over C&D (good to soft) in November; disappointing over hurdles on next two starts; ran okay behind Constitution Hill on the AW at Southwell recently but others arrive with more pressing claims.

3-3 over hurdles last season, including a Listed novice win at Exeter (2m, good to soft), and following a stint over fences he reverted to this sphere with a promising second at Warwick (2m5f, heavy) four weeks ago; travelled strongly on that latest start and not ruled out now back down in trip.

Soft-ground maiden hurdle winner who impressed in 4yo handicap at Chepstow (2m, good) in October on reappearance; now only 2lb higher but he's failed to shine on his three outings since and needs to get back on track.

10yo who was well beaten at Windsor in January and pulled up at Newbury last month; however, he's had wind surgery since and there can be optimism he'll be a different proposition now back here, having won the last two runnings of this race (soft/good to soft) and also scored over C&D in December.
