Check Out Fairplay's Cheltenham Offers Handicap Chase (GBB Race)

Last year's winner on good ground; bounced back to form after wind surgery to beat four rivals at Chepstow (2m, soft) two weeks ago, making virtually all; back up 5lb but has leading claims again.

Down in distance and off the mark at Leicester (2m, heavy) last month, left clear three out; a 7lb rise is hardly lenient on the face of it, but he could be unexposed at this trip.

Very well handicapped on old front-running form for Willie Mullins, but out of sorts on all four starts for new stable towards the end of 2025 (held up in rear); clearly has something to prove but he could be dangerous after a break, especially with a return to more positive tactics.

Seven wins in all, most recently at Market Rasen and Ludlow this time last year; didn't shape too badly over hurdles at Warwick (jumped right) last time, and this return to fences on a right-handed track should suit him; not ruled out.
