Useful handicapper over hurdles and fences as recently as 2024; finished well held on final two starts for Ben Pauling, albeit in strong handicap chases, and heavy defeat on stable/point debut last month following a break leaves him with something to prove; still, he'd be the one to beat on these terms if anywhere near his best.

Showed useful form in hunter chases last spring, notably when finishing fifth over the big fences at Aintree (2m5f, good to soft); returned from break with a win at Larkhill in November, but has since been pulled up at Taunton and was tailed off behind Snipe at Hereford latest, which leaves him with a bit to prove.

Made a bright start to hunter chases when beating Stattler (subsequent winner) at Hereford (2m5f, soft) in January and, although well beaten at Taunton (2m7f) when trying to match strides with Golden Son last month, he likely continues in form; leading contender dropped back to 2m for the first time, with fewer questions to answer than most.

2023 maiden point winner who has yet to add to that success, though has shown ability over hurdles and fences; pulled up on last month's return from a long absence and although entitled to have come on for the outing, a career best will be needed to figure here.
